One of the many upsides to having your wedding rings tailor made for you is that you get to choose exactly what you want, including finish.
“Finish” refers to the texture of the surface of your ring. The majority of wedding rings on sale in jewellery stores will have a smooth surface, with a polished or satin finish. Polished rings are the traditional choice, elegant and simple.
However, if you’re looking for something a little different, you can choose to have a hammered finish on your ring. I do this by very carefully using a specially shaped hammer to strike the ring, creating a beautiful texture on the surface of the metal. Depending on the shape of the hammer, I can create a wide range of rustic, individual textures.
